Terms & Conditions

How quotes, booking, move day and claims work with us.

Effective date: October 23, 2026

Please read these terms before booking. They explain what we promise, what we need from you, and what to do if something goes wrong.

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to everyone who uses this website or requests, books or receives services from AI Moving Services ("we," "us," or "our"). "You" means the customer and anyone acting on your behalf. By requesting a quote, booking a move or allowing our crew to begin work, you agree to these terms.

Your written estimate, order for service and bill of lading are part of this agreement. If they conflict with these terms, the signed move documents control for that move.

2. Services we offer

We provide local and long distance moving, packing, unpacking, storage, junk removal, and residential, commercial and military moves. We are a full-service mover: our crew performs the loading, transport and unloading of your move.

Every move includes loading and unloading, furniture disassembly and reassembly, real-time move tracking and our no-hidden-fees promise. Optional services you add (such as full packing, storage or junk removal) are listed on your written estimate.

3. Quotes and estimates

  • Quotes are free and carry no obligation.
  • Your written estimate is based on the information you give us: inventory, addresses, access, stairs, elevators, distance and services requested.
  • Please be complete and accurate. If the actual move differs — extra items, added stops, long carries, stairs or elevator delays not disclosed — we will explain the change and get your approval in writing before doing extra work.
  • The price we quote is the price you pay for the work described. We do not add hidden fees, fuel surcharges or surprise charges.
  • Estimates are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

4. Booking your move

How booking works

  • Step 1 — Request a quote online or by phone.
  • Step 2 — Review your written estimate and confirm the date, crew size and services.
  • Step 3 — Get your confirmation by email or text with your move date, arrival window and what to expect.

5. Cancellations and rescheduling

  • To cancel or reschedule, contact us by phone or email: contact@aimovingservices.org or 1-866-579-6777. Please include your name and move date.
  • Please give us at least 72 hours' notice so we can release or reassign the crew and truck reserved for you.
  • If we must reschedule because of severe weather, a hurricane warning, road closures or other events outside our control, we will work with you on the next available date.

6. Your responsibilities before move day

  • Building access: reserve elevators and loading docks and tell us about building rules, move-in hours and certificate of insurance (COI) requirements at least 3 business days before your move. We provide COIs on request.
  • Parking: arrange legal parking for a moving truck close to each entrance, including any permits required by your city or HOA.
  • Packing: if you are packing yourself, have all boxes packed, sealed and ready before the crew arrives. We may decline to move boxes that are open, overfilled or unsafe.
  • Appliances: disconnect, empty and defrost refrigerators, washers, dryers and gas appliances in advance, unless we have agreed in writing to handle it.
  • Valuables: keep cash, jewelry, medication, important documents, keys and electronics with personal data in your own possession.
  • Be present: you or an adult you authorize must be present at pickup and delivery to direct the crew, check the inventory and sign the paperwork.

7. Items we cannot move

For everyone's safety we do not transport:

  • Hazardous materials: gasoline, propane tanks, paint, paint thinner, chemicals, pool chemicals, fireworks, ammunition and explosives.
  • Perishable food, live plants (for long distance moves) and anything that can spoil or leak.
  • Pets or other live animals.
  • Illegal items or items you do not have the right to move.
  • Firearms, unless disclosed in advance, unloaded and packed as required by law.

If we find a prohibited item, we may refuse to load it. You are responsible for damage caused by prohibited items packed without our knowledge.

8. Move-day procedures

  • Arrival: we give you an arrival window and send updates as the crew heads your way. Traffic and earlier jobs can cause delays; we will keep you informed.
  • Walk-through: the crew lead walks through the home with you, confirms the inventory and notes the condition of items and of the property.
  • Protection: we pad and wrap furniture and protect floors, doors and railings as needed.
  • Disassembly: beds, tables and other large pieces are taken apart at pickup and put back together at delivery at no extra charge.
  • Tracking: you can follow your belongings with real-time move tracking.
  • Delivery: items are placed in the rooms you choose. Check items before signing the delivery receipt and write any visible damage or missing items on it.
  • Payment: the remaining balance is due upon completion of the move, before or at the time of final unloading, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

9. Liability and protection for your belongings

AI Moving Services is fully licensed, bonded and insured. Every move includes basic released-value protection as required by law, at no additional cost. Basic protection is limited and is calculated by weight, not by the full value of an item. Higher-value protection plans may be available — ask us before your move and they will be listed on your estimate.

We are not responsible for:

  • Items packed by you, unless the box or its contents show visible damage caused by our handling.
  • Pre-existing damage, wear, or the internal working of electronics and appliances that show no outside damage.
  • Particleboard or pressed-wood furniture that cannot be safely taken apart or put back together.
  • Cash, jewelry, documents and other valuables left in your belongings.
  • Delays or damage caused by weather, hurricanes, road closures, acts of government or other events outside our control.
  • Indirect or consequential losses, such as lost wages, hotel stays or lost business.

10. Damage and loss claims procedure

  • Note it on delivery: write visible damage or missing items on your delivery receipt before signing.
  • Tell us quickly: report damage or loss in writing to contact@aimovingservices.org or 1-866-579-6777 as soon as possible, and no later than 30 days after delivery.
  • Include details: your name, move date, a description of each item, photos of the damage, and repair estimates or proof of value if available.
  • Keep the item: please keep damaged items and their packaging so we can inspect them.
  • Our review: we acknowledge claims within 7 business days and aim to resolve them within 30 days. We may repair, replace or pay for an item, according to the protection level on your move.

11. Storage terms

  • Storage is arranged in advance and listed on your estimate, including the expected storage period.
  • Items in storage are inventoried when they go in and when they come out.
  • Please give at least 3 business days' notice to schedule delivery out of storage.
  • Storage charges are billed as agreed in writing. Unpaid storage balances may delay release of your items, as permitted by Florida law.

12. Junk removal terms

  • You confirm that you own, or have permission to dispose of, every item you ask us to remove.
  • Items we haul away cannot be returned. We donate or recycle usable items when possible.
  • We do not remove hazardous waste (see "Items we cannot move").

13. Long distance and military moves

Long distance moves may be subject to additional federal or state rules. Any extra required documents and disclosures will be provided with your estimate.

For military moves, tell us your report date and any requirements from your orders. We will do our best to work around changing timelines; rescheduling follows the cancellation terms above.

14. Text message terms

  • By opting in, you agree to receive texts from AI Moving Services about your quote and move. Message frequency varies.
  • Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel and HELP for help.
  • Consent to texts is not a condition of purchase. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your phone number.

15. Use of this website

  • Use the website only for lawful purposes and submit only accurate information.
  • Do not try to disrupt the site, send spam or automated form submissions, or access systems you are not allowed to access.
  • All website content, including our logo, text and photos, belongs to AI Moving Services or its licensors and may not be copied without permission.
  • The website is provided "as is." We work to keep information accurate but do not guarantee it is always complete or current.

16. Disputes and governing law

If you have a problem, please contact us first — most issues can be solved with a phone call. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally within 30 days, either party may pursue the remedies available under law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. The terms in effect when you book your move apply to that move.
